7 Heart-Melting Stories of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

When the world was running after power, wealth, and fame, there came a man who taught – real power lies in kindness and justice.

Super Hero of Humanity

Every human being, not just Muslims, can find inspiration in the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He showed us that someone who wishes the best for everyone is a decent person.

Let us know 7 true and unheard stories that show why he was “the real superhero of humanity”.

The Enemy meets a sick neighbor

Every day, an elderly woman would toss trash in the Prophet's (peace be upon him) way. When he couldn't see her one day, he wondered, "Where is that woman?" People said she is sick.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) himself went to his house, inquired about his well-being, and offered help.

The woman was surprised – the same person whom she used to harass every day came to inquire about her well-being.

Lesson: Responding to hatred with love is real power.

Tears in the eyes of a camel

Once the Prophet (peace be upon him) saw a camel crying. He called his owner and said –

“Fear Allah, this animal is complaining about you that you keep it hungry.”

(Abu Dawood, Hadith 2548)

Lesson: Humanity is not limited to humans only, but to be kind to every living being.

Neighbor's rights – Not religion, human being that matters.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“He is not a believer whose neighbor sleeps hungry and he himself eats to his heart's content.”

(Sahih Bukhari 6016)

A companion asked, "My neighbor is Jewish. Should I send him food as well?"

The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "Yes, send him first; he is also your neighbor."

(Musnad Ahmad 14404)

Lesson: A genuinely good individual recognizes the needs of those around them, regardless of their faith.

Neighbours Right in Islam

Prayer even during the stoning of Taif

When the people of Taif threw stones at the Prophet (peace be upon him), even bleeding, he prayed:

"O Allah! Forgive these people, for they know not what they are doing."

(Serat Ibn Hisham, Volume 2)

Lesson: The one who wishes well for others even in pain is the truly merciful person.

The Medina Charter—Equal Justice for All

In Medina, the Prophet (peace be upon him) drafted the first “constitutional agreement”—now known as the “Medina Charter.” It granted equal rights to Muslims, Jews, and Christians.

“All the people of Medina are one Ummah; every person has the freedom to practice his religion.”

(Medina Charter, Article 25)

Lesson: True justice is that which gives equal rights to all.

Treating Slaves and Workers Equally

A man once reprimanded his servant by referring to him as "slave."

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“Your servants are your brothers. Feed them what you eat; clothe them with what you wear.”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 30)

Treating Slaves and Workers Equally

He himself worked with his own hands—sweeping the house, stitching shoes, and sewing clothes.

Lesson: Respect is earned not by status, but by humanity.

Kindness and Love for Children

The Prophet (peace be upon him) loved children very much. He would play with them, hold them, and kiss them. One person said, "I have never kissed my children."

The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied:

"God shows no mercy to those who are not kind to others."

(Sahih Bukhari 5997)

Lesson: Love for children is not just a relationship, but a sign of humanity.

Message

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that the true meaning of humanity is kindness, love, and justice for others. He never oppressed anyone, but always stood with the weak.

“The best person is the one who is of greatest benefit to others.”

(Daraqutani, Hadith 1912)

Conclusion

If society were to embrace that message again today – promoting humanity, equality, and love – the barriers of hatred would naturally crumble.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) demonstrated that the true hero is not the one with strength, but the one who shows compassion, mercy to all.
